It all started in 1992.... Human formed in a one-room bedsit in the inner city area of Christchurch, New Zealand. The band was founded by brothers Paul (drums) and Scott Harrison (vocals / lead guitars) and has a completed lineup with Vaughn Richardson (vocals / distorted bass) and Kezz Brewster (guitars / vocals). After hundreds of shows, several television apperances, tours, recordings, line-up changes and music videos, Human stands today as one of the few metal bands around to hold their style and sound intact. • Masorah

After the fall of established Christchurch metal band Dathegic, bassist Matt Frisken took it upon himself to create a new band from its remains. He recruited fellow ex-Dathegic band members Rawdon (vocals) and Steven (guitar) and then sought out Tom (drums) and Luke (guitar) to fill in the empty slots. The arduous task of orchestrating these 5 musicians finally paid off when they met up in a local band room. A jam more successful than any of them could have hoped ensued and thus Masorah was born.

  • Midnight in Motion

In mid-2009, pop punk band Midnight in Motion burst onto the Christchurch music scene with force, making the smokefreerockquest regional finals, the grand finals of Rapid Storm and fourth place in the band contest "Tune-Up", 2009 also saw the release of their debut, independently funded e.p entitled 'This City Is Ours", 2010 looks to be bright for Midnight in Motion, with a debut single almost released, and a tour in July, there's no telling what these boys will do next!
